The BrewBlog experiment has run its course and it's time to shelve it. I've really enjoyed having this blog and blogging is something I recommend to anyone looking for a creative outlet. After writing my wacky little autobiography, this blog was the perfect next thing for me to sink some energy into. Now, 244 posts later, my need to write has waned. With so many demands on my time, the nagging pressure to blog took the fun out of it. Being a prolific blogger to a post a month blogger isn't going to work. My recent little surge after an extended absence from blogging was my toe in the water and while I've reaffirmed that I like blogging, I've also learned that I don't want to blog anymore. The little bit of head space and time that I'll recapture is small but still significant to me these days. Bottom line is that I need to, need to do less.
I'm proud of BrewBlog and I'll miss the satisfaction of publishing. The little high that comes with hitting "publish" is nice. Seeking another creative "high" is inevitably in the future. I'm sure I'll blog again in the future because it really is fun. As for this content I've built here, I'll probably just export it and hold on to it to look at some day. I hesitate to give up this service though because brewer.blogs.com is not going to be available and almost impossible to get, even when free it up.
So, thanks to all that ever read my blog! Just for fun, I've compiled my 20 favorite BrewBlog posts below, in no particular order. Bye!
